Home-Base Hangar Option Opens in Houston

(New York, NY) – Sky Harbour Group will host a cocktail reception at its new, private aviation campus at Sugar Land Regional Airport from 6 p.m.-9 p.m., Wednesday, May 19. The open-air event will mark Sky Harbour’s arrival in Houston, the first of the New York-based company’s planned four national private hangar locations. In addition to Houston, those include Nashville, TN; Miami, FL; Denver, CO; and more fields to come.

Guests can tour the hangar complex, complete with an exhibit of aircraft from Wheels Up, Textron and Cirrus. There will also be a display of luxury supercars. Music, spirits and appetizers, together with a premium scotch tasting promise to make a special evening. A $2,995-value, Connect-level membership in Wheels Up, the second-largest private aircraft operator in the United States, will be given away in a random drawing.* The guest list includes area aircraft owners, business leaders, government and airport officials, and friends.  

Sky Harbour’s line crew ensures the shortest time to wheels up at Sugar Land (SGR) by exclusively servicing Sky Harbour’s private hangar tenants. Each Sky Harbour hangar features temperature and humidity control, drive-in vehicle access, indoor and outdoor parking, and all features required for routine aircraft maintenance and inspection. Premium interior suites include private offices, lounges, kitchens, bathrooms, showers, laundry and crew facilities. Members manage their space through the Sky Harbour Smart Hangar App, offering remote access control, video monitoring, remote environmental control and service management.
